Trouble TTC

N3TR - Costco & Sam's club

The love fest going on below in a post about costco made me laugh because my husband is there right now for a eye doctor appointment.  There used to be another eye doc in town that our insurance took, but now the only one is in Costco. They informed me that our insurance covers most all of it, but to buy contacts you have to be a member.  So he is signing us up.  I never had interest in it, because we're just two single people...what do we really need in bulk?

It reminded me of an episode the first season of Modern Family when Cam learns they got their diapers from CostCo (and looked down his nose at the idea until he went inside, then he went nuts shopping).  I'm slightly worried DH will come home with a gigantic jar of pickles or something.

So, why do you find it a magical place?  And what do you buy there?

    HI

We love Costco.  We may be a bit biased though as my husband does work there.

We buy MILK there, so much cheaper.  We also buy eggs, vegetables, meat, cereal, clothes, paper towel

  • We don't shop at Sam's much (because like you said, there's only 2 of us) but I have a card for work.

I've noticed  that the produce is really well-priced and really fresh. The wine is also really well-priced and the selection is decent.
