  From Firefly--Washburne NN Wash. (I've always been partial to the NN, although I first heard it as short for Washington.) I also like Inara.

  I wanted to use Xander for our son but no sadly. My hubby didn't like that one. 

  We are thinking about Owen and that's from the Buffy verse. I also like Winifred (Angel). I do like Willow, but I don't think I could actually name our daughter

  DDs middle name is Aldara from star trek DS9.
  Baby will be named Jadzia. Also from DS9. Her middle name will be Annika which is Seven of Nines human name. DH is a Trekkie. And I like unique.

  Linus was the name of a Nobel prize winning scientist. So there's your easy front runner.

  I also like Luna, which is celestial in that it means moon in Spanish.

  And I think Zelda is kind of cool for a little girl.

  These are all great names. I don't know why I didn't think of Sierra. I have Bennett on my list (from Dollhouse). Before I got pregnant, I always wanted to name my first daughter Bennett.

  Luna, Willow, and Linus are overdone imo. I know two Willows, two Linuses, and at least five Lunas. Willow is a beautiful name, though. One of my childhood friends named her daughter Cadence Willow Sparks (Sparks is her last name).
