With Charlie I labored for about 13 hours and pushed for 15 minutes. With Ginny I labored for about 2 1/2 hours and pushed for about 20 minutes. They're about 2 1/2 years apart.
"I wanted you more than you'll ever know, so I sent love to follow wherever you go."
With my first my water broke at 3am, contractions didn't start until 8am (after some pitocin) and I was ready to push at 3pm. I pushed for 2.5 hrs and then my 9lb baby was born. It would be so nice if I didn't push for that long this time around.
I didn't push for very long with either of my girls. DD1 took mayyybe 20 minutes. DD2 came out in only a few pushes. They are a little under 22 months apart.
With my first I pushed for 45 minutes before they used the vacuum to pull him out. With my second I pushed over two contractions, so maybe 5 minutes, and he was out!
I'm not sure what the exact times were with my two. I was a bit clueless with my first, and what time the clock read just wasn't a big priority with my second. But total labour was about 13 hours from 1st contraction to babe-in-arms with my first, and
24 hour induction with my first. After an hour of pushing, he was delivered with forceps since he was pretty well stuck and his heart rate and mine were becoming worrisome.
5 hour labor with my second from first signs of cramping to delivery
With my first i was pushing for four hours i know and with my second i only pushed for five min. Hopefully my third is as easy as my second and both kids wher 8.5 lbs 21 inches
These stories are very uplifting! I pushed for about 2.5 hours with DD and had to finally accept an episiotomy to get her out...hoping LO2 comes out quite a bit easier than that!

To my surprise, mine were about the same.
DD - 14 hour labor - 50 minutes pushing (with epidural)
DS - 14 hour labor - 35 minutes pushing (natural)

Labored 26+ hours
Pushed 17 minutes
Ezra ::
Labored 15 hours
Pushed 4 minutes
They are 26 months apart, while Ezra will be 22 months apart from DD.
We'll see what DS2 has in store for me. They'll be 20 months apart.
DD1- almost 2 hours
DD2- 5 minutes
They are 14 months apart.
If we have a third I am scared how fast I'll pop that kid out lol
Crossing my fingers to follow in the footsteps of the many moms who have had markedly shorter second+ labors...
DS was a 24 hour labor with 3.5 hours of pushing until they finally did an episiotomy and out he came (sunny side up). I'm hoping th
