I had my c section 4 days ago and I have serious burning/stinging feeling on one side of the incision but more interior not on the incision itself. It usually comes when I stand up but not all the time. It's really painful and almost debilitating for a little bit. Is/has anyone else experienced this or should I make an appt with my doctor? My c section was unplanned and I feel like they should've prepared me a little more for what to expect afterward. Thanks in advance for any input.
Yeah I'm kind of bad at that and also not super happy about having to be on Percocet with my newborn nursing. Thanks for the response, I feel relieved knowing its normal!
I felt the same way about the Percocet and nursing until my good friend who was my labor nurse really urged me to take them. She, as well as all the docs, said the baby would be just fine. Remember you have to take care of yourself too!
Totally normal is right, and most likely the reason its on one side more then the other is because that's the side where they had to cut deeper to get started. At least that is how it was explained to me by the nurses and doctor when I raised co
I agree with all the PP's that you have to stay on top of your pain meds. As my nurses and husband kept telling me, "Don't be a martyr." There's no shame in admitting you're in pain. I waited too long on mine and couldn't even stand up straight to walk. N

normal. stay on top of pain meds. Don't go over five mins... or you will regret it
They wouldn't give you the meds if they thought it would hurt the baby.
