We've been discussing adopting again, and whether or not that's ever going to happen. For some reason it's been coming up more and more of late.
Last night, out of the blue, he tells me he's open to adopting a toddler. This from a man who was not interested in this option when we started the process to adopt DD. Apparently he doesn't want to relive the newborn phase, and is (at least for now) prepared to transition a toddler into our home.
Color me surprised. Kind of excited. Definitely surprised

Yes, i'm definitely open to it. I already started looking at options in our state. I don't have a lot to tell him after 20 minutes on the computer, but we'll keep investigating and see what we find.
One big difference from MA than other states is they
After 2 years of IF workups/treatments and 2 IUIs, we have closed the door on fertility treatments.
We are very excited to be pursuing international adoption from China!

very exciting!!! keep us updated!! :-) And, if you ever want to talk- we adopted DS at 21 months old, so I've been through toddler adoption! He is adopted from Korea, so different process than domestic, but all toddlers are the same LOL
