I am planning on just calling my parents and DH's parents. My thought is that everyone else can wait until LO is here. The grandparents and our two sisters should get first dibs on seeing the baby, then we'll call everyone else. I also think that when I'm in labor I don't want 20 people up there. DH says whatever I want but his thought is that everyone is excited for us and wants to be a part of it, which I get that.....any input?
I think it's something you and your DH have to decide together. I'll probably tell a few good friends that I've gone into labor who may or may not come to the hospital. I don't think sharing the news means that people will automatically swoop in on you in
