So I was talking to a friend who has two girls pretty close together. I was asking how the older daughter did when the second came. She told me that when the older daughter came to meet the Lo for the first time, they had a "big sister" present from the baby. That went over great. Talked to my DH and he also agreed that would probably be a nice thing to do since the LO will be getting some goodies at first. Any one else doing something similar?
We are and we are going to have DS go to build a bear and build a stuffed animal for the baby. So he will bring a present and we will have one for him from the baby.
We're not giving him a present "from the baby," but we are planning to get him something that shows he's a big kid. Just haven't decided exactly what that's going to be yet.
