Baby movement before labor

For those who have had their baby or any STMs..

Was LO still pretty active right before you started to go into labor or did you notice a big decrease in movement?

    I had my baby on the fifth and he moved around SO much I hardly knew I was having contractions. I just knew I was uncomfortable because he was moving so much.

    He slowed down a bit a few days prior to labor last time.

    I had DD on the 4th and I noticed a significant decrease in the days prior to my water breaking.  So much so I started to panic at times.  But all was well.  I guess she was conserving energy!
