Induction Scheduled- medically necessary

If baby girl is not here on her own by Tuesday, I will go in to the hospital Tuesday night for "ripening" and if that still doesn't get things moving, I will be induced Wednesday.  I know my ticker says 39 weeks today, but my doctor moved my due date up a week, so really I'm 40 today. I am still hoping that baby girl will come on her own, but either way, by next Wednesday, I'm going to be a mom!
