Rolling from back to side - Safe to swaddle?

Lo (7wks) just rolled from her back to side and back again, on both sides. Is it no longer safe to swaddle her any more?

I've heard that it's only unsafe to swaddle when they roll from back to tummy (but I'm not an expert or a doctor). My LO wiggles/rolls like you describe all the time, and we still swaddle him every night.

I'm in the same boat and wonder the same thing. What if they roll onto their tummies during the night? Are arms swaddled in? Mine are bc he wakes when they're out. Some say to do tummy sleeping, but he thinks its tummy time and holds himself up and gets upset.

My DD does this and I just kept swaddling but started to put a rolled up blanket in front of her tummy so she can't roll all the way onto it.

When my LO rolled back to side I swaddled with one arm out. Now he rolls completely so he is swaddle free and doing well.

I'm with HALO and I'm also a mom and a HALO SleepSack user. When a baby shows signs of rolling over, she shouldn't be swaddled with her arms in. This usually occurs on or before 4-6 months of age, but each baby is different. Because your baby is partially rolling, you might consider swaddling her with both arms out, which is very easy to do with a Halo SleepSack Swaddle. This will give her mobility when she rolls (won't restrict her) and also the soothing sensation of the swaddle. Hope this helps!
