I do... I have a few different versions.I use
organic grade B maple syrup as it has some great health benefits.
NON BAKE-
QUINOA GRANOLA
2.5 C quinoa flakes
? C maple syrup
1/4 C coconut oil
handful of dried apple/blueberry (I usually use
little ducks because my LO hates dried fruit)
bring liquids to boil, fold in dry
ingredients, pour onto non stick surface or greased foil (I use a loaf
pan)
Press it down firmly.Put it in fridge, slice when
firm.Keep in the fridge.
BAKE
OAT GRANOLA BARS
1.5 C oats
8 tbsp coconut oil+extra for greasing pan
? c (little less then full) maple syrup- you can do
a taste test
handful raisins
handful fresh or frozen blueberries
Throw ingredients in food processor (I use just the
hand mixer for convenience).Pulse for a few seconds, just enough to chop the
oats and let the ingredients mix.
Pour in greased loaf pan.Bake at 350F for about
25-30 minutes.
