DIUI Ladies...

Hi everyone & happy Friday!!!

Well we have officially started our cycle for DIUI #1. Started Clomid yesterday and I go in next Sat for our first monitoring appointment. It seems there are quite a few of you with DE experience but I am hoping for any input on DIUI.

1. Did you get a BFP?

2. How many cycles did you do?

3. What Cryobank did you use?

4. Medicated or unmedicated cycles?

Just trying to pass some time and gain some hope! This is our last shot at achieving a pregnancy (RE said he'll give it up to 5 tries). I know I am getting ahead of myself but of course due to past disappointment I can't help but be afraid that this doesn't work! Our staff is hopeful but then again they were hopeful for our IVF...So just hoping for some info and success stories to keep me sane! TIA!!

Ugh I am sorry you did not have success with this! I had googled looking for some success stories and unfortunately I am seeing this a lot. Women with no issues, with no luck with the donor IUI, moving on to IVF. We can't afford IVF again so I am starting to get discouraged already. Best of luck to you with your IVF. I hope that is IT for you!

2. How many cycles did you do? this has been our first

3. What Cryobank did you use? Midwest Sperm Bank

4. Medicated or unmedicated cycles? 50mg of Clomid CD5-9

Good luck to you! DH and I decided we would only try 3 cycles, but, of course hoping the first cycle is the charm!

Hi,

You might want to post on LGBT as well. We are a friendly bunch with just about everyone using donor sperm, and many opting for IUI. Or, even just do some searches on past threads.

I had to go straight to IVF, but we used California Cryobank.

1. Yes! 2. BFP first DIUI. This time around, hit again but miscarried. 4x more, BFN. 3. Xytex 4. Medicated. 50mg of clomid days 3-7. I'm moving on now to either IVF or DE IVF.

Which bank? Xytex

This is our third beta is on Feb 20th

First two were unmedicated this one was our first medicated using clomid cd3-7.

I agree, so far there's a lot of DE users but not too many DS threads )

1. I just got my first BFP and positive betas last week.

2. 5 IUIs, 1 fresh IVF and 1 FET. Before that I tracked for a years worth a cycles before we found out we weren't working with all the necessary ingredients, then we spent 6ish months figuring out exactly what the problem was/if it was something fixable. It wasn't, so we moved on to DS. Overall, about 2 years.

3. The Sperm Bank of California

4. Both. The first couple of IUIs were unmedicated, then a couple of Clomid cycles, then a cycle with Clomid and a trigger shot.

I'm a fan of non perfect cycles! With my IVF for my DD we transferred our only 3 embryos, they all sucked and I got my bfp. On our dIUI cycle, our one and only vial did not meet the guaranteed (not at all) count and it worked also. Best of luck!

My diui info is all in my signature, I'm on my phone but will try to remember.

We used california cryobank. Cycles 1 to 3 unmedicated. Cycle 4 letrazole/femara and ovidrel trigger shot. Cycle 5 letrazole/femara BFP.
