After being up all night with contractions and getting no sleep, we went into the hospital around 4:45. I was just at the doctor yesterday and only 1 cm dilated, 70 percent effaced. When I got to LD, I was 4 cm and 100 percent effaced. The contractions got very intense very quickly once I got here, so I have my epidural now and I'm a lot happier. I'm only 38w 2d and I'm a FTM, so we definitely weren't expecting this so soon, but regardless we should have a baby today! I still can't wrap my mind around it. I'll update later!
