Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
We live in the Houston area. MH grew up in this area, I moved here after college, and have now been here about 10 years.
Do you have family nearby?
Nope.

How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs? Just DH, me, and M, who is 2.5 months old now.
How many furbabies? None, unless you count dust bunnies!
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? We are just a few miles west of Boston. We've been here for 5 years (though both DH & I have spent many years in Boston area when we were much younger)
Do you have family nearby? SIL (DH's sister) lives 20 minutes away. My parents are in TX, my brother lives in Hong Kong, and my ILs are 3 hours away by car.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there? We live in a house in Arizona. We have been in this house 4.5 years. Do you have family nearby? How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs? 5 - DS is almost 4 (crazy!), DD#1 is 2.5, and DD#2 is 8 weeks
How many furbabies? 0
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? South of Boston. We moved almost 2 years ago to my hometown to be near my family. We were in the city until then.
Do you have family nearby? Yup - my parents are about 3 miles away, and my sister and her family are about 3 miles away in the opposite direction. A huge help with 3 kids so far!!
How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs?
We are a family of six. Shannon is 6, Quinn is about to turn 4, Sully is 1.5 and Maren is almost three months.
How many furbabies?
We have one cat and a goldfish (who isn't furry at all)
Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
We live in Milwaukee and I've always lived here. I actually grew up only two blocks away from where we live now.
Do you have family nearby?
Thankfully, yes. My parents and two sisters live in the area. My in-laws live in Michigan.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

4- Me, DH and our 12 week old twin boys
How many furbabies?
1- our 7 year old pekingese who is ridiculously spoiled by DH. He also still gets two walks a day, even with the babies here.
Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
CT, I have lived here my whole life except for going to college in Delaware.
Do you have family nearby?
My parents and MIL are 45 minutes away, but my parents are moving and will be about 5 minutes from us which will be a huge help. My brother and future SIL live about 15 minutes away.
3 humans. 1 LO. He will be 6 months tomorrow.
How many furbabies?
1 cat, 20 years old. She is starting to show her age and it makes me sad.
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? nbsp;
I live in Seattle on the shore of lake union. I moved to Seattle for grad school in 2002.
Do you have family nearby?
No, sadly. Closest family is a sister in California. My parents are a long plane ride away, same with DHs.

How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs? Just me, DH, and DD (Ellie) who just turned 19 months old...hoping to add another soon!
How many furbabies? none yet!
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? We live just south of Washington, DC. I can't believe it, but DH and I have lived in this town almost our whole lives. We went away to college (at separate schools) and met over winter break at home one year and hit it off. The only saving grace to us still being in the same town is that there has been so much development in the area it's really not the same place it was when we were growing up.
Do you have family nearby? Yes! Both my parents and DH's parents are about 10 minutes away from us in either direction. Sounds stifling but they are great at keeping their distance but also very willing to come over at any time for any reason to help, babysit, or just visit and play. They're great
How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs?
there are 5 of us. i have twin boys who are 2 years and 10 months old, and my baby girl who is 5 weeks.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
i live in a suburb of philadelphia. i was born here (same hospital where i gave birth to all 3 of my kids!), lived here til i was 9, then moved to texas. i came back for my senior year of HS, then away for college and 2 years after. i have been living here since 2004, when i started grad school.
Do you have family nearby?
my parents live 1 mile away, and my aunt and uncle are about 3 miles away. that's part of why we live here- we have a lot of help! my grandparents live at an old folks' home about 2 miles away, but they are not particularly helpful (87 & 88 and have dementia), but we get to see them and the boys know who their great-grandparents are. we are really close to my family.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
Norwalk, CT. My husband has been here since August and I just got here a week ago.
Do you have family nearby?
Sort of, they are in upstate NY about 3 hours away. No one I know is here though.

FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!

Three. Baby ELF is almost 9 months old.
How many furbabies?
Our dog is almost 13 years old and still having a bit of trouble giving up the baby role in our family.
Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
We live in the burbs north of NYC and have been here for about 5 years.
Do you have family nearby?
Nope. Both of our families are in the midwest.
How many furbabies? We have three dogs. We usually foster for a Weim rescue but with the arrival of our LO we have put a hold on that for now. My dogs have been amazing with H!
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? Knoxville, TN. We moved back here in May when I found out I was pregnant. I am from here. DH is from central Nebraska

How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs? We just moved into my parent's house, literally yesterday, because we sold our house and are still house hunting. So technically it's my Mom, my Dad, husband, me and Grayson. He turned 6 months old today!
How many furbabies? One Mastiff, two kitties and a desert tortoise.
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? At my parents for one day
We are looking for our new house now. We lived in our previous house for six years.
Do you have family nearby? Yup. Living with my parents and in-laws are just down the street from them.

Was it, by chance, Houston IVF? That is where I went. I liked my doctor okay (Hickman), but I rarely go to actually see him and the staff and my experience otherwise was terrible. The nurses did pretty much everything and they were incompetent. I once expressed concern that my IUI was timed too long after I O'd and a nurse told me, "The egg lives 3-4 days after you O." Any moron knows that isn't true.

Yes. My mom and brother live 15 min away, thank goodness! Both of them are lots of help.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there? I live in Portland, if you have ever seen Portlandia, that is pretty much my neighborhood. I am from here, DH moved here after college for work. We just moved into a new-to-us house last spring.
Do you have family nearby? Most of my family is nearby, which has its benefits and disadvantages.
Yes it was. My RE was fine, but like you the office and nursing staff were insanely awful. And the cost was outrageous. I spent more in 6 months just getting a diagnosis than I did at FSH in 2 years of actual treatments.

(DH, me, sweetboy and sweetgirl). Our b/g twins will be two in March. DH is deploying in a couple months, but we hope to try for #3 when he gets home.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there?
-North Carolina. We've been living here almost 8 months. DH is military. Prior to NC we were in CO. Before that we were in TX and before that KS. We hope to stay here though.
Do you have family nearby?
-No. We are from MO. Its a looong way home. We have a great support system here though. Awesome friends.
How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs? Me, my DH, and our daughter who is 17 months old.
How many furbabies? 1 - a big, lovable Newfoundland.
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? We live in the Kansas City area. We have been here 5 years.
Do you have family nearby? My sister and her family live here which is really nice. My parents live 3 hours away and visit often. My DH's family is spread out all over the country.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there? We live in Phoenix, Az. We!ve been here a little over 3 years. Previously we lived in Chicago.
Do you have family nearby? DH's father and SM live about 20 minutes. We are very close with them and they are an important part of our lives.

Where do you live and how long have you been living there? California born and raised.
Do you have family nearby? All my family lives within 20 miles of my house. Im very lucky.
Oh, I am still dealing with them. They told me the work up was covered by insurance and then a year later I started getting bills. I have more than $2800 in bills I am now trying to get reduced just for the HSG alone. If I had known from the get go that the insurance did not cover it, I could have gone out and found somewhere to do it for less. Most people I know paying cash pay only $500-$700. Now, though, I'm stuck fighting the insurance company and unable to get the bill reduced because it went through insurance. Even worse, my insurance company has said a letter from the RE would probably clear all this up (they are defining the procedure as "infertility treatment" instead of "infertility testing" and testing is covered under my policy) and even though they have told me I would get a letter, months have gone by and I have received nothing. I can never talk to an actual person when I call...I can only leave a voicemail and they don't return my calls. I have not gotten the bill for the hysterscopy yet (or other testing) and I am scared to death of what that is going to be. I am thankful to have my son and wouldn't do anything differently, but I will never go back there.
Sorry you had a bad experience there, too. The strange thing is that that they are supposed to be a good clinic. Their office is beautiful. Their stats are the best in Houston. They are affiliated with CCRM and Dr. H has been named a top doc and won alot of accolades. Yet, I felt like I was treated like a number there.

How many people are in your household, and how old are your LOs? Right now there are only 3 of us - DH, DS #1, and me. We are expecting twins in May and will then be a party of 5!
How many furbabies? 1 (evil) cat
Where do you live and how long have you been living there? We live in the suburbs in Maryland, about halfway between DC and Baltimore. It's a good, central location, but the COL is a little ridiculous. We have been in our town for about 7 years now.
Do you have family nearby? My immediate family and most of my relatives are in the same state, or 1 state away. All of DH's family is in NY.

Do you have family nearby? Yes, all of my family lives in Houston/suburbs of Houston. My sister lives in the same neighborhood.
