Disinfecting with Vinegar

I am a FTM and I am having a hard time locating the disinfecting ratio of vinegar to water... How much of each do you use in a spray bottle?

I want to use it on toys and the floor play gyms(mats) .... I received some hand me downs and my sweet 9 year old step daughter bought the play mats at a garage sale since she was so excited about her baby sister.

I use a 1:4 ratio for general cleaning disinfecting. But for more heavily soiled or "unknown" items, you could reduce that to a 1:2 mix. :

I actually use equal parts plus a few drops of GSE oil (grapefruit seed extract) GSE just makesure you use pure extract and organic if possible. I buy mine at Whole Foods

FYI to the PP regarding grapefruit seed extract: it's been widely exposed as either a containing/being contaminated with toxic compounds such as triclosan, parabens, and benzaldkonium chloride, or b entirely ineffective as an antimicrobial treatment. Either way, it's not recommended, especially if you are concerned about exposure to toxins, but also because it is not really as "natural" or Ecofriendly as it has been claimed to be.

Yup, you're right. I've read up on it, that's why I suggested 100%pure and organic. I've done my research on the topic and feel comfortable with using 100%pure and organic GSE oil.
