Poll: Pre-Seed or no Pre-Seed

So, I saw an earlier post from a Canadian saying she was able to get Pre-Seed lube behind the counter at the Sobey's in her area.

I went to go check at mine and the pharmacist looked at me like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about.

Now I am just curious how many ladies here actually use it TTC?

We use it because it is available at our Walgreens. Depending on where it's available for you, I found it next to the HPTs. We don't use it every time (depending on how much CM), but a little goes a long way so if you do order it one tube will last a while.

I personally like preseed and would probably use it even if we weren't TTC. I like the natural feel of it, and it doesn't get sticky like other lubes. A little goes a long way though!

I use it. got it at rite aid I believe. you can use it internally like instructed or externally like regular lubes. a little does go a long way.

Do you need lube usually? If not, don't bother. All it is, is TTC safe lube. It doesn't help you get pregnant, it just doesn't hurt like other lubes supposedly do. In fact my RE said not to use it because it is difficult for the sperm to swim through. But I don't know....if you really need lube, I would use it over other lubes, or nothing at all since dry sex can be painful. We didn't use it the time I got pregnant, but I think we may have used it the first time I got pregnant (chemical pregnancy).

We use Conceive Plus and love it. We have a lot of sex so a lube is a must for us!

This is good to know.

DH and I used lube when we used condoms, but I am not positive we will need it without. I am on CD4 and we are just starting TTC this cycle so I guess I am just jumping the gun a little. I wanted to be prepared lol.

First month using it and absolutely love it. I don't know how we would be able to BD so much without it. I get it at amazon bc it's cheaper than in stores.

I have been using Pre-seed for 2 cycles. I like to use the applicators about 10 min before sex. I have noticed though it doesn't work well if you apply directly on DH. It got a little sticky after a few minutes.

I used it when TTC DS and am using it now. I used the applicators when we TTC DS and sex was really slippery and awkward. Now I just use it like regular lube and a little goes a long way. I ordered it online last time around but now it is available at most Targets and Walgreens.

I agree with this. I hate the smell of other lubes too and preseed doesn't really have a smell.

We have conceive plus if it starts to get dry. It was cheaper than pre-seed. We've only used it a couple times though.

I saw that post and called my local Sobeys to ask if they carried it - I had to spell it out like, 5 times, the woman on the phone was not getting it, it turned into an awkward conversation while H was standing there laughing at me.

To answer your question, we use it during/approaching my FW (and use cheaper lube the rest of the month because while I like Preseed, it's a bit pricey). I have always ordered it online.
