What do you plan on bringing your baby home in? I live in the Midwest, so it will probably be cold out. There are many cute ideas on Etsy. Bonus points if you show a picture!
I have a NB size and a 3 months size, both from carters. The NB outfit is a long sleeved onesie with patching pants, the other outfit is a long sleeved shirt with matching pants. Then he will have socks and some blankets on top, along with a hat and his bundleme because it is cold here
I have a pretty Gap dress that DD1 came home in. Totally ridiculous, and I'll change her as soon as we're home, but DD2 will come home in it as well. It's similar to the dress that I came home in, but I didn't have that with me at the time since DD1 came 6w early.

I'm glad someone brought this up because I totally have question about this! Can someone explain the side snap tees thing? I just figured he'd be in onesies, but I've recently read they should have side snap tees so they don't rub the umbilical stump? STMs, thoughts? This totally changed my coming home outfit.

I put DD in onesies right away, in fact the first thing she wore in the NICU was a onesie. Sometimes a little bit of blood got on it, but it didn't seem to irritate the stump at all. I never did the side snap tshirt thing.

My mom knited the sweater and my sister made matching booties and a hat with a flower. My husband was worried about all the parts, so I'm also bringing the one-piece in case she is fussy.
I have few. The Carter's one in premade size, just like the first pic. I also have a newborn sized navy blue onesie that days "little brother" in different colors with these cotton pants that look like jeans but super soft from Gymboree. We will see how big he is.
I have four outfits. To come home in, I have a navy NB size sleeper from Gap with a hat that has his name stitched on it. I also have the same exact outfit in cream from Gap 0-3 months. Ds1 was five ads late, but was in NB size for a month.
I'm also bringing Gap sleeping gown and Carter's little brother sleeper for the hospital. I dressed DS1 while there. Also a few hats, mits, socks. I'm keeping his blanket under the bundle me inside the carseat. I think that's it. Oh, I'm also bringing wipes. My hospital only had the kind you had to wet and was a pain.
That's an outrageous price, for what you get. Also, gowns would be difficult in a car seat. You'd have to push it up over the legs to buckle him in, which would expose them. You might be better with an outfit with actual legs, like a onesie or pants.
As long as she isn't larger than newborn size...this is her outfit.

My husband went to Texas A&M- I found a t-shirt that is maroon and says "Wrecking Crew" on it (it's a football thing) and then some grey cotton pants from Carter's, a maroon and white striped A&M cap, some maroon socks that may or may not fit so I have some basic white socks from Carter's as well, and a zip-up hoodie if it's too cold. I am also bringing a swaddle that we can use in the car seat, as well as an A&M blanket. This is it for us and DH wouldn't have it any other way as far as coming home outfits. Though I have a Carter's two piece grey waffle knit LS top and pants as a backup in case of accidents.
DD's outfit was SUPER girlie but ended up coming home in the hospital provided white tshirt because she peed all over herself as we were leaving...
We got this at the baby shower and I think it's so cute! I'm bringing the white onesie and the pants as his going home outfit! We live in TX so i'm not worried about it being too cold. I think this outfit with socks and a blanket (if needed) will be perfect!
Since it will be freezing here Im in NY.. I have the 3 piece micro fleece outfits from Carters that are NB size plus the bundle me on the car seat. I am also bringing one piece fleece footsie outfits that are premie sized.. Since the baby is only measuring 3.8 lbs and Im having her in 4 weeks. My youngest was 5 lbs. And the doctors all keep saying she is real tiny. I will see what she fits in when we leave the hospital.

The far left dark blue outfit and the handsome onesie is his going home outfit!!
I'm in love with this outfit...

But, I don't think I can justify the price. With my luck my kid would probably have a blow out all over it and he wouldn't be able to wear it. Haha!

I have 4 outfits coming with me
1. Newborn onesie in pink with stripes and matching head band
2. Newborn romper in cream with matching head band
3. 0-3 month onesie in yellow with flowers and matching headband
4. 0-3 month polka dot pants and adorable flower tank
(I'm in Orlando and it'll probably be hot)
I saw some similar outfits at Old Navy today for like 9. Worth looking at!!

You do realize the Bundle Me is a safety risk in car seats, no?

DS will be coming home in this: https://www.carters.com/carters/4-Piece-Head-to-Toe-Set/V_121B135,default,pd.html?dwvar_V__121B135_color=Grey&cgid=carters-baby-boy-family-members-brother&start=
He will also be snuggled in blankets/car seat cover so he won't be chilly on the way home. DD has a big sister shirt she will wear too.
