Any evening primrose oil users?

Anyone out there take evening primrose oil before? If so how far along when you started taking it and when did you give birth? How much were you taking? And did you lose your mucus plug?

    Started at 36 weeks. 500 mg capsules, two internally and two orally. I did not lose a plug that I noticed last time. Birth was at 41 wks 2 days.

    I started at 36w and take 1000mg orally each day. I haven't used it vaginally yet.
    6th cycle of meds/iui combos = BFP!! - EDD 1/21/13 <3
    Born via emergency c-section - 8lb, 19.75 in, 100% stubborn BFP Chart

    this except DS was born 41w6d...I believe it's more to make you favorable than actually starting labor
