Around 10:30 last night I woke up vomiting and with lots of lower stomach pain. After about 2 hours I decided to call the on call dr. He had me come to L D. Blood work showed an infection and the ultrasound ruled out kidney stones. Dr then ordered an MRI which was inconclusive due to my uterus covering up the appendix. A general surgeon came up and he felt surgery was the way to go due to symptoms and fever. So around 4:30 this afternoon I was taken into surgery. Feeling much better and pain from the incisions is under control. My concern the entire time was our little girl and my first words waking up were "how is my baby?" She is doing great! Spending the night, but should go home tomorrow.
I'm so glad you and your little girl are doing so well! How scary to have to go through that though! I'll be keeping you in my prayers for a speedy recovery
Glad to hear your both ok, it is scary how fast you can go from being totally fine to being rushed to the hospital. My husband had his taken out last month. One minute he was fine the next we were in the hospital being told he needed to be rushed in for surgery! I'm happy to hear your both doing ok!!
