Hi!! Just wondering if there were any Dayton moms on here!! I'm delivering at Southview and was wondering if anyone else has delivered there!!

Hi! I actually just delivered my daughter at Southview on 12/12/12. The nursing staff was wonderful and made my experience fantastic. I also loved having the lactation specialists come around anytime you needed them. I have had trouble breast feeding since I've started and they were a great big help to me.

I'm a new Dayton mom to be too. I have no personal experience with Southview but my best friend delivered there February , 2012. Great experience. She can't say enough about how wonderful Southview was. I visited her and the room was big and everyone was nice. I am probably going to deliver at Kettering as we live somewhat north of town. Back up plan is Southview for sure.

Dayton here too and delivered all three kiddos at Southview. I agree with everyone elses comments, but my one (minor) complaint is there was one nurse who was there for all three of my kids who was a tad to chatty for my liking. I espically like that southview is "baby friendly" which not all hospitals are.

I delivered at Kettering and loved it there! (I had a c-section so I was there for 4 days.) One of my friends delivered at Southview in Sept. 2011 and said it was great. The room was a good size and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Good luck!!!

Dayton mom here as well I just don't post very often

I had my daughter at MVH and will be having my son there as well. I don't have any experience at Southview but I have had friends who have delivered there and had good things to say.

I'm due in mid May and I'm a new Dayton Mom. I live in Xenia, I work at Beavercreek Christian Learning Center, which is Beavercreek's TOP Daycare Center. I'm the assistant Director there. I'm delivering at MVH or MVH South, depending on my Doctor's availability. We need to keep in touch. These are the first Dayton Moms I've seen on here.

I live in Springboro. I just delivered my son in September of 2012 and had a great experience at Southview. The rooms were great, the nursing staff was great, and the LCs were awesome and around and available all the time.

I am betting we had the same nurse. She was there on my check-out day and drove me batty. At one point my husband finally said, "Could we have some time to ourselves, please?" after she had been in there talking for 45 flipping minutes. Other than that, I had great nurses.
