Ultrasound Pic - Question

So, we just had our ultrasound this week at 17.5 weeks.  It's a baby GIRL!!  BUT, when I showed the picture to some of my Mom friends they were questioning whether it looked like maybe it could be boy....

Any thoughts?

    Looks like a girl to me. Google "boy ultrasound" you can see a penis and scrotum on a boy u/s

    Dx: ASD, SPD and receptive and expressive speech delay at 21 months
    BFP #2: CP 5/2012
    DS2: 4/24/2013
    BFP #4: Miscarriage at 5 weeks 7/2014
    BFP #5: 8/8/2014 Due 4/20/2015 
    Its a healthy girl!!!!!

    We are having a boy and believe me his boy parts were very noticeable.  I think that's a girl :-)

    Same here! This is boy #2 for us and on both U/Ss, the parts were very definitive. That looks like a girl to me. :)

    I would trust the ultrasound tech, who does this for a living, over your mom's friends.

    So I had my a/s done about 17.5 weeks as well with a boy...here is our money shot. Hopefully this helps ease your mind :)

    Could be that her bits are a little swollen - I have heard of that happening especially when you find out on the earlier side.  But looks like a girl to me!!  Congrats!! :)

    The tell tail sign are those "three lines". I thought the same thing as your mom's friend when they showed me DD's goods, but she's all girl!

    your absolutely having a girl...my LO had his boy parts hanging out there for everyone to see. you cant confuse that at all...congrats on your little princess :)

    I think the little nub is what is throwing you (&/or your mom's friends) off. There is a photo of a 17 week old's girl parts on this website:

    If you scroll down to it, you will see there is still a sizable nub on 17 week girl fetuses.
