Do you have any vacations planned with the new little one? Family events, such as holidays, don't count. I'm talking legit vacation.

In a few years, when she's big enough, we are going on a Disney cruise. DH has never been on a cruise and I've been dying to go on a a Disney one since my first cruise.

MH want to do a cruise this November. We went on a week long cruise to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta and he wants to take his sons and Ashley with us. I would like to but I don't want the kids going to port since there has been violence against tourists in those places. DH just likes being on the cruise ship and eating all the free food. ;-)

We will for sure go to So Cal this summer though. We love Disneyland and Huntington Beach!

We're going to St Thomas in three weeks! My mom is watching DS1, and we're taking DS2 with us. After DS2 is a little older and I've got an awesome freezer stash, maybe in the summer, we'll take DS1 somewhere and leave DS2 with my mom. I really don't think I could handle going on vacation with both at this point, or at least I'd be so stressed that it wouldn't be worth the money!

March 1st we will be going to Disneyworld! I can't freaking wait...DH and I go every year and I'm so excited to take DD. Even though she can't remember it I will. We have a lot of family that live in the Orlando area so we spend a week at Disney and a week with them. I figure if we have to pay for the palne tickets to visit family then we might as well go to Disney too.

No "real" vacations here for at least a year or two. We will go to my parents in Florida next Christmas. We will also camp this summer.

My sister is trying to convince us to go to Disneyland and do their half marathon. It's a great excuse to start running again and an even better excuse to go to Disneyland. It wouldn't be until Labor Day. Last year our parents went down with my sister, bil and two lo's. we shall see.. Dh nixed the idea saying it would be too much money blah blah blah.. But that was before when we were planning in me staying at home but now I'm going back part time so... Now just a little more convincing and it should be fine.

And by convincing... I mean sex.

We are planning a week long beach vacation in Destin in May with my parents.

We will probably go to Mexico for 5 days in October or November as a couple.

We would like to do a week long family vacation and 5-7 day adults vacation yearly as long as we both are working as sort of a perk.

We are going to Disney World in June. We have two DD's who are 8 and 10 and we've been promising to take them. I wanted to fly but DH insists on driving because it'll be cheaper. So we will be driving from Toledo, OH to Orlando. With 3 kids. God help me.

I'm so jealous of all of your fabulous vacations! We're planning on just going to the beach with my IL's in the summer. Although my husband has been looking for a new job, so hopefully he'll get vacation time! Otherwise, ill just be going half the week probably.

We are in Pittsburgh and the flights to Orlando right now are outrageous! I told DH we should just drive to save the money. The only downside is it would cut down into our actual vacation time. I don't think you are too crazy. Especially having to buy 4 plane tickets!

We're going to Maui in May, bringing our baby girl. She will be around 8 months at that point. So excited! Its my motivation for losing the baby weight!

I did this exact drive in May with an 18 month old, i couldn't imagine doing it with 3 kids. Good luck!

With many of you looking at Disney vacations, check out the Disney Vacation Club. Especially if you plan to go a couple if times. We got it a few years ago, its a time share type thing but we have stayed at their resorts in Hilton Head, Vero Beach, Fl and of course Disney. It's already paid for itself.
We are going to Hilton Head in August and Disneyworld in October.

We have to go to London in march and October for weddings, so those are pretty much out vacations. March will mostly be Charlie meeting family and friends, but DH is talking about doing a week in Spain or Portugal before the wedding in October. I would probably consider that our first vacation.

We're going to Cuba for a week in April and in June we're off to Europe! We start in Barcelona, cruise to France, Italy and Croatia and spend a couple more days in Rome. We can't wait!

We're doing DC in July with our friends and their DD. Besides that we're doing our own vacation in April less the LO. In a few years we're planning the typical family disney and historical trips.

When DH and I are ready for baby 2, we will go on an "insemination vacation" to a cruise porting out of Puerto Ricostaying in PR a few days in the rainforest going to the eastern and southern Caribbean, hitting the islands we missed on our honeymoon.
