Sewing Classes Southern Metro

Any suggestions for sewing classes in the southern metro?  I am in the Apple Valley, Eagan, Lakeville, Burnsville area.  I have no sewing experience, but just got a sewing machine for Christmas.

I have found classes in St. Paul and Mpls., but I don't want to travel that far.

    Most community education groups will have adult learning craft classes and I wouldn't be surprised if they offered a sewing class or two.

    Community Education is the way to go down your way. 

    Check with wherever they purchased the machine from to see if they have classes.

    Otherwise, it is well worth heading up to Just Sew Studio in Roseville since they're a dealer/repair shop so if you have any problems with your machine they can troubleshoot and repair.
