I haven't folded my own laundry in 5 weeks. I've been keeping up with DD's weekly laundry, but with my own I just keep washing it and piling it into laundry baskets, then just digging through baskets for clothes to wear. It's really a bad time. I don't have work today so I really should do it, but now the task just looks too daunting.
It is 8:30am here and I haven't gotten the girls up yet. They are being quite and playing in their cribs, and I am not ready to start my day yet! 5 more minutes please!!!
Livian Elizabeth and Alayna Marjorie! On their way to 3!
I have serious doubts about making it to 8 weeks without breaking into maternity pants. Thank you IVF for making a girl fat before she even gets knocked up.

I did the exact same thing. Laid in bed in the quiet and listened to my son play happily in his cirb. I didn't get him up until he got pissed.

I haven't even gotten out of the majority of my maternity pants from DS yet.
Rocking maternity full panel jeans today, matter of fact.
I'm currently rocking long shirt/unbuttoned pants. Your way seems much more civilized.

I've taken one or two naps with DD every day this week. Man, I feel lazy, but the extra sleep has been wonderful. In fact, I just got up from her morning nap, but the afternoon nap will have to be her alone in the car seat because it's in the middle of my OB appointment.
Mommy to N (3), J (2), and C (10 months). LO4 is due in mid-September.

this made me LOL!! I also want to thank Femara for me starting at 15 lb's over my regular weight...if I read one more book that says to "not gain more than 2 lbs..." I will strangle the author! I have been rocking drawstring pants for a week now...:)
I tried on a pair on maternity pants from my pg with DS this morning. Really wanted to wear them even though I'm only 5 weeks. I gained 49 lbs my first pg, and never lost 10 of them. I look about how I did at 4 months already. I opted to not wear the maternity pants but regret it now!

I am with you ladies. I've gained probably 10-15 pounds since I started doing treatments and nothing fits. Plus my boobs, which were already gigantic, are already busting out of my bra - possibly at least partially from weight gain and then partially from pregnancy. Thankfully I work mostly from home so I am living in sweats. But, yeah, I've already started looking into maternity clothes. Why bother just buying bigger clothes when I'll be in maternity wear soon enough??
I hate how judgey people are about baby names. Who cares? It's not your kid.
Agree!! Haha. I can already imagine the reactions from family when we go for a less traditional name that wasn't inspired by the bible. Lol.
Because what you name a child impacts their life in a big way. Studies have been done on the successfulness of children with "traditional" names and "youneek" names and it is more difficult for people to acheive success with a stupid name.
Doesn't matter IMO. If it's not your kid, it's not your call. Now I'm not talking about if someone names their kid "Batman" or "Lemon-jello". My sister got a lot of flack for naming her daughter Emily because it's too common. I got a lot of complaints because Penelope sounded "Mexican" (no joke).
I have went through a pack of digitals and a pack of FRER in 2 days...and will probably go out and buy some more today.
I used a wondfo this morning
Since we are being honest, I went to the dollar tree and bought 5 pregnancy tests. I took one this morning, to see that dark positive is a great feeling. I may go back today and get more to hold me over until my first US which isn't until Jan 29.
I've been figuring out how to space my leftover Wondfos out till my OB appt on Feb 11th!

I took a wondfo yesterday since my first appointment is today. I needed the reassurance before going to the doctor. It was wonderful to see the test line pop up immediately and get darker than the control line.

I am way too lazy to truly enforce potty training with DS. I work full time and am tired at the end of the day and DH doesn't get home from work until right before our son goes to bed. Weekends are always jam packed with get-togethers, birthday parties, bbq's with family and friends (seriously... every.single.weekend.). It is so hard to find the time and energy.
So I am secretly hoping my mom potty trains him while I am at work. I am so lucky to have such a giving mom who takes care of my son all day and loves him unconditionally and is AMAZING with him, I know that potty training shouldn't fall into her lap. But secertly, I hope to come pick him up one day and it magically will happen.
I feel for you! I feel the same way. And the only thing worse is I know the judgment is SURELY not going to stop with what I name my child. It will continue with how I feed it, how I clothe it, it's sleep schedule, the products I use, etc etc etc.
I told work I had to leave early at 1 pm today so I can go watch niece because my SIL is sick. Really, I am just going to go home, take a long nap, and then get ready for a date night with DH.
Also, I had 2 cups of coffee this morning. The nurse at my OB's office said it was fine, as long as I don't make a habit out of it.
Angel baby #1- 12/3/11.~Angel Baby #2-7/16/12~Surprise BFP on 1/1/13! EDD is 9/5/13. Praying for our take home baby!~
My FFFC: I took two ibuprofen last night because we don't have any tylenol and I had the worst migraine. I take comfort in that last time I was pregnant, the doctor said it was okay before a certain poing in pregnancy.
oh no. Is this flameful? I am still in my pjs and have absolutely no intention of getting dressed at all.... I prob should put on clean undies though.
Haha me too, I'm not back to work til Monday and I'm totally enjoying being in PJs all day. I did actually bath, get dressed and leave the house yesterday for groceries, but might be lucky enough to not have to do that today at all.

This is how I've been operating for about 3 years.
I agree. We really need to fold the mountain of clothes we have in our closet.
I slept in until 9:30 this morning and got out of bed at 10. It's noon here and I'm just about to go brush my teeth and wash my face. At least I have on clean underwear...

Yep, me too. I'm just rolling with it and going to wear my maternity clothes straight through both kids!
I scheduled back surgery for later this month just a day before getting my BFP. I figured it wasn't our month and was just feeling really like Sept wasn't going to be it. I'd been scared to talk to the surgeon and I finally worked up the courage. I was so excited about having my back all better and was really feeling like it was giong to be great.
I'm super excited about #2 (I think that's going to become it's nickname!), but I'm also kind of sad I have to try to make it through another pregnancy without throwing out my back. Last time I spent a month in first/early second tri on bed rest because I couldn't stand upright. I threw my back out puking. And then at the end it got really bad again. It wasn't so bad as before, but I couldn't drive because my right leg would go numb.
I should have had the surgery months ago and not waited until it was too late.

for sure!! I am using pregnancy as an excuse to live in sweats.

Well y'all know I want baby to come early or late, I'd rather them not share the same birthday!

I confess I am still in my PJ's and intend to stay in them until I get ready for work around 2.
I also confess that I love the fact that I wear scrubs to work-Yay for elastic waistbands!
