When does holiday break start?

My children go through this Friday. I wish we had more than 2 days before Christmas Eve. I enjoy taking them to do Christmasy things on weekdays when places are less crowded.

When do your children start break (or yourself if you are a teacher)?

    Schools release early on the 20tb here. Seems later than usual though. It's probably because Christmas lands on a Tuesday. I always remembered getting out on like the 15th or sumshit.

    Our last day is Friday.  We come back on the 3rd.

    Schools get out on Friday here. It is also my wife's last day at school before maternity leave starts.. woohoo!

    It really does feel late. I swear the last time it fell on a Monday or Tuesday, the children got out earlier than the preceding Friday.

    We go until Friday but don't go back until the 7th.  It's going to be a long week, the kids in my class will be insane.

    Daycare closes 24th-1st,  that is when my work (University) closes too.  I think it's just how the holidays fall this year.

    Ou last day is also Friday, it's stressing me out as we have so many things to get done before Christmas eve, including baking, taking the kids to the Nutcracker, ugh, and wrapping, so much, and I still have shopping to do ;(. Last year we were done on the 18th.

    Friday is a half day for us. BUT, I am taking the day so that I can go to the doc and be sure everything is ready for my maternity leave sub.

    When I was in school, I know we had more time before Christmas. I enjoy the time after the holiday, though. Since there is less going on, the break is more relaxed. Except this year for RTV and me what with the bouncing baby girl on the way. :)
