Baby Names

Colton?

Any thoughts on Colton for a boy?  DH and I are think of naming our son that.  The middle name would be Clark, which is a family name.  Thanks in advance for your opinions!

  • Colton clark?

    way too cowboyish for me

  • It's not my style. It makes me think of a cross between the gun brand Colt and Michael Bolton. I like your middle name, Clark, though. I would rather see that as a first name.
  • I love Clark! Colton is ok, one of my cousins named his baby Colten.
  • The name is NMS, but I think that Colton Clark has a great ring to it.
  • Colton has been growing on me. Colton Clark isn't the best, but I think the family significance is nice.
  • I think it sounds like a southern name but that's what I like about it!  I think it's a good choice.

  • Love this name the only reason I wouldn't use it is because my best friend dated a Colton for a very long time and it would just be weird.

  • I love Colton! I agree Colton Clark sounds very southern, but I like that you are incorporating a family name.
