The twins are suffering from twin to twin transfusion syndrome. I have to have surgery on Tuesday to hopefully correct the issue.
They are going to go in and sever the vessels that are shared between them. Their vessels connected to me remain intact. It's an invasive procedure, but with tiny incisions.
If anyone could spare some good thoughts and vibes that they both come out of the surgery ok, I'd appreciate it!
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
Thoughts and prayers with you. I just had a friend go through this and her babies are thriving, home, healthy and happy! Hang in there mama you'll do great!
I don't post much here, but I just wanted to let you know that I'll be thinking/praying for you and your LOs on Tuesday. I hope it all goes smoothly :-)
When will you be going in? In the morning? How long is it supposed to last? I will definitely be praying. Have you named your twins yet? Sorry so many questions, but I will seriously be praying and love to be specific.

I won't know what time the surgery is until Monday at my consult appointment. There is another woman going in for the same thing, so it depends on who they put in what slot. I think it's about 1-2 hours. We don;t have for sure names yet, but I'm feeling like we need to finalize their names now. One will be Claire for sure, the other one is maybe Talia, but we're still discussing it.
Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it
