Intro, for those who don't know me

Hi! I am Jes. I am 28, DH is 38. We live in southwestern Missouri. We have a DD who is 9 and a 10 month old puppy, Lucky. We had two miscarriages in our first year of marriage. We took a break and during our break, we decided to not try again, ever. I am coming to terms with it and trying to enjoy DD. 

Note: DD is from a previous relationship. The hardest part is coming to terms with the fact that I won't be giving DH a child of his own flesh and blood. 

I have short term memory loss. Do not take it personally if I do not remember you right away.
No longer trying to conceive at all.

    I knida know how you feel, I pretty much skipped the PgAL board because I knew more girls here. 

    I have a 9yo SD & I placed a daughter for adoption, she is also 9. So we kinda have a little in common, sorta. :p 

    Anywho, I hope you enjoy posting here as well as the other boards.

    Welcome! I have an 11yo SS and a 9yo DD from a previous relationship. We had a miscarriage last year followed by our most recent addition. DH is also talking about getting snipped so I guess we have a bit in common.
    We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I'm a little late to the thread, but wanted to say welcome *back* to the board :)

    And I'm sorry for your losses ~ but DD being nine is such a great age (I have three little brothers), lots of personality there - and just beginning to show signs of that teenage introspective attitude ;P
