Happy Hanukkah

My mom was raised Jewish, which makes me half, so we celebrate both. So if anyone out there is lighting candles tonight and eating yummy latkes, Happy Hanukkah from our home to yours!

We were lighting Candles in our home!! The boys each got a small gift. No latkes here though, maybe tomorrow night. I'm going to make them with zucchini.

    Happy Hanukkah!

That sounds really good. With applesauce and sour cream. Mmmm. I think DH is picking up Taco Bell, but the zucchini sounds so much better.

It cuts the calories waaaaaaaay down!

There's a trick to it though, you have to shread the zucchini and then set it on a paper towel and heavily salt it to get some of the water out. Otherwise, it's too watery when you fry it. There are some pinterest recipes out there.

A little late here, but I still wanted to wish you a Happy Hannukah or what's left of it. : And now I must find time to make latkes!
