I give my LO his soothe pacifier get his cloud B giraffe then snuggle his close to my chest rock him to sleep, and I massage his head with a brush motion he starts to fall asleep. I love it when the only thing that comforts him is being snuggled up with me.

The surefire way to comfort and calm ds is to go swing on the porch swing. The motion and feel of the air moving soothes him quickly.

I lay him across my thighs and pat his butt while I sway my legs side to side. This is a total body workout great for loosing baby weight and toning my legs. Then if that doesnt work I put his bouncer or his portable swing on the kitchen table so he can watch the ceiling fan. I think I would stand on my head and hula-hoop if that worked!

I put her against my chest, either in my arms or using her k'tan, and walk with her while humming softly. My DH is a recent amputee and can't walk with her so he usually holds her on her belly and shushes her or takes her outside to get some fresh air when the weather allows it.
