What do you do with them? I have a crap load of them and I don't know what to do with them. It has worked out that just about every 6 months we have gotten a professional photo shoot done and I have beautiful pictures, many of them, sitting in my computer...I mean do you frame them, and if you do,do switch them for more recent ones? I don't my walls to be covered in pictures lol...am I weird for wondering this? lol

I know - this board is beyond dead.
Where I live it's not normal to get professional pictures done, so we don't have any of DD. I have about 1000 pictures that we've taken with our digital camera, though. Do you have your pictures in digital format? If so, then you could get one of those digital frames that cycles through the pictures so you rotate them without actually having the work of switching them out.

Kelly--I have tons that I've taken myself as well and they never get printed, some are just on my phone, not even uploaded to my laptop!

When I get professional ones done, I would give them away to family and friends and put one of the 8X10s in a frame. Then the next ones would cover them up. At this point I basically have a big box full of loose prints because I would have too many photo albums around!
Each year though I make a Photo Book with highlights of things that happened all year long. 2011 had the pregnancy, birth, family gatherings, holidays. I have to make one now for 2012 that has her bday and all the other things that happened in the year. I think with the addition of #2, it will be nice to go back and look at them growing up year by year.

I also do the photo books with ALL the pix I take all year. I make it as the year goes on & get it printed at the end of the year. I mark the beginings of each month so I know when stuff was taken but not down to the day unless its a special event. I keep EVERY pic I take, but ones that are dups of the same general thing I generally put the best into the book.
For the professional ones, we print for family & then put out in the house. We have our up for sale now so not many out at all (which sucks) but they will be displayed at the new place (whenever we can move!)
