Anyone else forgetting they are pregnant?

Seriously, I am so relieved I have an apt tomorrow and will hopefully be able to hear the hb.

Most days I forget I am pregnant (thank you for lack of symptoms), it gets to be a little bit of a mind game though where you start freaking out wondering if everything is still there!

I cannot wait until I feel movement for the sense of relief!  My first pregnancy was the same so nothing abnormal for me I just forgot about it!

Re: Anyone else forgetting they are pregnant?

  • Yes, when I go through long periods of time without symptoms, I am not as aware of my pregnancy. Yesterday I had no symptoms for most of the day and I just watched movies with my husband. After a few hours of my lazy Sunday, I realized that I had no symptoms and panicked! I hadn't though about being pregnant for most of the day. I actually welcome m/s because it makes me feel pregnant which I enjoy.

  • Yes! Or even that it doesn't seem real. I've had an u/s, seen the baby, and heard a heart beat, but sometimes it still seems so unreal!

This.  There are lots of times it doesn't really seem real to me either- despite the u/s pics and the doppler of the heartbeat.

  • I forget all the time too. I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks & got to see/hear the heartbeat, but that was 2 weeks ago. No symptoms makes me worry, but so far I haven't had any the entire 10 weeks!
  • I'm so glad others are feeling this way! Like many of you, I've seen the baby and heard the heart beat. But not feeling anything just seems so at odds with how much is going on in there! I can't wait for my second appointment on Thursday to see and hear it all again:)

  • ME ME ME!!! Thank goodness I had an appt last wednesday because I would believe it was really still...I got to hear the heart beat for the first time which was super cool! I am so ready to feel something...just for the reminder that there is something awesome going on inside there!

  • I feel this way. I have symptoms and a small belly, but it's nothing like what it was like in my third tri with my son (which was less than a year ago). Ya know you feel the movements and hiccups and see your belly contort. So I don't feel pregnant half the time because subconciously my brain remembers pregnancy as having a big ol belly and watching it move all day.

  • I feel that way too. I didn't have many pregnancy symptoms besides sore boobs and the occasional nauseousness, but I noticed yesterday a decrease in my boob soreness so now I'm freaking out about missed miscarriages. anyone else's symptoms decreasing? I'm only 10 weeks so I don't know if this is normal or not.
