Contractions coming every 5-10 minutes

For the past three hours I've been having really strong and painful contractions coming every 5-10 minutes. I want to wait until my doctor's office opens at 8:00 to go in so that I can ensure my doctor is the one who delivers me if I have LO today . . . Do you girls think that's okay?? If they start coming a lot faster and more regular I'll go straight to L&D.

    Go for the 5-1-1 rule. One contraction, every five minutes that lasts a minute. Unless you live far from the hospital, then I'd probably go in a bit earlier. Good luck!

    I agree with the 5-1-1. I did this....well almost...I was 6-1-1 lol. I couldn't wait any longer and the pain was too bad. Good luck :)
