I'm sure this has been done, but there have been a lot of intros lately. Just curious if anyone has checked the Chinese gender chart for baby? We are team green this time around but it's fun to check. The chart was right with DS, and says we'll have another boy this go around.
I'm not sure, because according to FF I ovulated on November 1, but I think I may have ovulated two days prior. But that doesn't mean I necessarily conceived on those dates...I'm just confused!

Does Oct and Nov have opposite genders. I thought about that too, but either way it says boy.
It says girl for me. But it said boy for DD. But I get different results from babycenter and thebump. So my gut told me boy with DD, this time I am thinking girl so IDK. Guess i will find out in February, hopefully!!

Yeah, October says boy and November says girl. So I guess either way the chart will kind of be right. Or kind of wrong, depending on how you look at it haha.

This will be my first baby, and I did check the gender chart on thebump and it said it was going to be a girl. But, Babycenter gave me a boy when i did it by conception date and then a girl when I did it by due date. So who know! We are team green, so we will just have to wait and see
The Bump says girl for me, Baby Center says boy lol. Maybe try that sewing needle on a string thing - another 50/50 shot. I say boy, hubby says girl. Regardless we are team green.

It says I'll be having a boy. This is my first, so it hasn't been wrong for me yet, either. It's been right for quite a few people I know, though.
I think we're pretty much all taking this as something fun (I know I'm not buying any blue onesies yet!), but if you want to do it accurately, you have to make sure you're using the Chinese lunar calendar. Depending on when you were born, your "lunar" age might be different from your regular age, and the months don't line up quite the same way, either, so you also have to check which month your conception date actually falls in. I found a website once that walked you through all of this, but now I can't find it again.
Also, it's supposedly less accurate near the switchover points. So, if Nov. 9 conception date is the last day of a "girl" lunar month, but Nov. 10 conception date is the beginning of a "boy" lunar month, babies conceived on either 11/9 or 11/10 probably have about a 50/50 shot; it's supposed to be a lot more accurate for babies conceived smack dab in the middle of a lunar month.
I don't know why I know so much about this. I kind of feel a little crazypants now....

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
I just checked, and it says a Boy! It was right for DS as well,so we will see. I'm hoping for a girl, but DH is excited because we have so much boy stuff already
it says boy - last time it said a girl and I had a boy. So Maybe it works opposite for me
Isn't there another one that predicts the weather the day you go into labor? I did that one last time and I was laughing cause it said it would be foggy, and I said there's never any fog in Arizona. But there was on the day I went into labor. Too funny.

It says we'll have a girl, but I think it's kind of silly because that means anyone who conceived in Oct. at 28 will have a girl. We'll see. It has a 50/50 chance.

I'm confused too! Some of them (maybe all of them?) you are supposed to use your lunar age. And I ovulated within days of my birthday (if not on my birthday) so I'm unsure whether I conceived before or after my age changed. Oh well.
It's funny, I can't say I really believe in things like these. However, I have checked this for many of my friends after they had their babies and literally everyone was correct!!
With that said - it told me boy last time and my beautiful baby girl says it was wrong!
It says girl this time.
Grrr! Mine depends on when I conceived. The lunar month ends right around time of conception, so if I conceived before October 14th, it's a girl, after the 14th it's a boy.

We're team green.
However, The Bump says girl. Babycenter says girl with due date and boy with conception. We shall see.

Yep- your "lunar age" is not necessarily your real age, and the "lunar month" is not the same number as the real month.

lets you put it in.
