S is all over the place, but I wish she was just sitting on her blanket and not moving! She is obsessed with crawling to the dog food bowl and eating it. :P Yuck!

So is my little guy! He loves to go toward the dog food dish. I don't get it. He has toys all over the place and all he wants is the darn dog food.
Not even close. He'll use his hands on us to pull himself up to stand, and can "walk" with us holding his hands, but has absolutely no interest in crawling.

I second the wishing he would simply sit on a blanket and not move! Daniel started getting up on all fours about a week after he turned 5 months, he was stuck in reverse until two days before he turned 6 months, now he's into everything (thankfully we don't have a dog to worry about dog food though!).

DD was scooting around at about 5 1/2 months and started doing a more traditional hands and knees crawl a few weeks ago. I actually hope she ends up being an early walker.

How long did it take for your Lo's to kget the hang of it? I'm guessing now is the time to start baby proofing and buying gates.
