Due date buddies? Everybody post your due date!!

Have we started to match people up yet or no?

If not I can make a google doc so that we can go ahead and start matching people.

It will be available for people to add their due dates the we can go ahead and start matching up buddies and then we can edit the people as we find out sexes of babies and when babies start being born and such.

Post your due date here people and then we can try to start matching people with buddies! :D

    Maybe I'm wrong - but I thought labor buddies was someone you "clicked" well with as opposed to the person that has the same due date as you. At least that's how my previous BMB worked.

    On my last BMB, people matched themselves if they clicked, but most were matched around the beginning if third tri... Maybe end if 2nd. We called them labor buddies and their due dates were usually at least 2 weeks apart. Their job was to update the board when their buddy went into labor and post progress until the mom could get back with their birth story. It worked out great. My labor buddy and I are actually still very close friends.

    I 100% agree. It's kinda hard to update the board if you're with someone who's in labor the same time as you!

    This. At one point we discussed doing a big post on Valentine's Day to "choose" your labor buddy.

    V-Day sounds like a good idea! I need my Due Date changed on the blog it is June 4th now...Doc said she wouldn't change it again so this one is final!

    I really like the due date buddy idea. It sounds neat. Since I'm having a homebirth, I could probably deal with staying online most of the time depending on pain but yeah, I could update for someone in labor with a dd close to me.
