... that the 3rd trimester is the longest? I'm almost 29 weeks. So like 11 weeks doesn't seem that long but everyone keeps telling me that it will take forever. Im honestly sick if hearing about how I'm not even close when I feel like the countdown has begun!
Just curious if you ladies have found this trimester to be terribly long...??

I actually feel like it has flown by so far. I have 6 weeks left, but the past 6 have been so busy It seems like just yesterday I started my countdown.
OMG NOOOO I was hoping you ladies would tell me about how its just freakin zipping on by... of course, it only makes sense that the anticipation would slow time-space by half.
I have several things to break up my wait. Think that helps at at all?
10/11 - last ultrasound at 32 weeks 10/21 - baby shower then thanksgiving (whenever that is) THEN DUE 12/6
fingers crossed that it'll pick up because I can't wait to join in on the mucus plug conversations!!

I always feel that the 3rd trimester flies by!! (for me, the first trimester seems the longest) This is our 3rd baby and each pregnancy as a whole seems like it goes by faster and faster. I swear it seems like I've only been pregnant for 4 months!

I think the holidays will make time go by faster! At least I am hoping so. If you go past your due date though, I am sure it will feel slow then though.

Mine is flying by. It does help to have events break things up. I am prepared for LO as much as one can be so I don't look passed the next thing, for example, baby shower is 9/30 so that is what I look forward to now. Once I get passed that then I look to something else until baby finally arrives. It helps keep away the tunnel vision
I think part of the reason it's going so fast though is that 1) I'm feeling pretty good 2) I'm keeping busy, going out with friends, making the most out of the time with my H before we add another one in the mix.
I feel like I've been pregnant for forever anyway... but yes I think it's because you're so uncomfortable at this point the days... weeks... MINUTES even seem to drag on! But we're in the home stretch and before you know it you'll have your LO and be like "holy crap that was like a blink"! I'm trying to savor all the little things knowing it's my last pregnancy but other than feeling him move... yeah, no I'm ready .
It's kinda true. Keep yourself super busy. I'm in my last week and half and the weather is changing...its rainy and boring instead of invitingly sunshiny and now it's dragging like my dog after a long walk. It's all worth it!
Yes, it definitely seems the longest, but for me I think that is because I've had easy first and second trimesters, and the sudden aches, pains, etc of third trimester make it drag on.
Yes, definitely for me. You're just so much more uncomfortable. I don't think it's that bad until 34-35 weeks, though, at least for me. But yeah - every day at this point DRAGS. It is rough.
Yup it's long. I think it's because there's nothing happening really. Milestones have been reached already so the only thing left to look forward to is the birth. i have another 2 weeks left and a half left and it feels like a lifetime!
Yup! The last 4 weeks draaaaag for sure! I wish I would have truly enjoyed being like 18-30 wks PG because I really felt AWESOME and never realized it!
Time flew until 34 weeks. Not anymore. I'm having all the unpleasant memories return from when I was pregnant with DS1 and how miserable I was at the end. Every day feels like a week It's taking FOREVER. 38 weeks is when it gets the toughest, IMO.
If this makes sense, the days drag, but the weeks go by fast. During the day I am thinking about back pain, and at night I have to get up several times to pee, but then before I know it another week has gone by.

yup. I'm 39 wks and 2 days and it's CRRRAWWWWLING. And it has been since 36wks. It also doesn't help that everyone is checking in with me all the time. As if I wasn't watching the days creep by, all my people keep reminding me on top of it. I love my people- but not helping!
It flies when I realize how much I need to do before LO comes. My house needs to be spotless when he's born because I'm not going to be cleaning for the first little bit, but the mess puts me on edge. Also, I'm not letting my midwife see my house a mess and I'm not delivering in a less than spotless and peaceful home.
The day by day though. it drags like mad. It isn't the anticipation so much as the super itchy stretch marks, the way it hurts every time I stand up, or how shopping nearly cripples me. My feet get so swollen that the skin feels sunburned and I'm even retaining water around my belly, which means every little wrinkle and seam digs in, leaves dents, and hurts. Those little details make it drag. It was flying by though until almost 37 weeks.
