What do you keep in your lo's crib at night? Blankets? What kind? Stuffed animals? What are safe if so? I guess eyes made of non plastic.. My lo is taking some time to fall asleep lately. He has been touching back of ears head... Molars maybe?? He has been going to bad later and later each night. Last night it was 9;45. He is 16 months.. Tia!
Re: What's in your lo's crib?
My LO gets a sippy, a blanket, a hard flip book and a couple little quiet toys (stuffed animals, her doll).
I basically make sure she can get herself out of if she lays on it and won't choke on anything.
I don't get too worried though because her ritual involves chucking most of it out before she falls asleep...lol.
My LO has liked stuff in her crib for quite awhile. I equate to adults watching a bit of TV or reading a book before bed. Some people (and kids) just need the wind down time.
That's it for now. In the winter I might consider adding a blanket. She rolls around so much, though, I'm not convinced it would be more useful than warmer pajamas.
Her piggy. She goes everywhere with him. A few other stuffed animals as well.
No blankets yet.
She has this small blanket that's made of chenille-type fabric that she absolutely loves. She carries it all over the house and rolls around on the floor with it while making happy squeals! I finally started putting it in the crib with her a few days ago and she gets really excited now when we put her in their to go to sleep.
She sleeps in a cotton sleep sack, but loves snuggling with that other blanket. She also has a small stuffed elephant head attached to a blanket that she's had in there since sometime around 6 months.

BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!!
My LO goes to bed with his lovey, a blanket, 2 trucks, his bear and fish stuffed animals. I also throw in a sippie cup with water and a coup,w books. I end up taking the books out after he falls asleep.
Are you certain your LO doesn't have an ear infection? My sons sleeping is always thrown off by an ear infection and it's usually how I know he needs to have his ears looked at.
Wow! Funny how some of your LO's have so many things in their crib. They don' roll onto it? My LO moves all over the place. That's why I never considered putting extra objects in.
Her sleep monkey/lovey (small), and also a little terry elephant and lately a pat the bunny stuffed animal. No books or sippy. Usually a small blanket, and sometimes one extra--she moves around a lot, so it is sometimes handy to have another one in there to cover her up.
She's still using the small blankies from her bassinet days, and I keep wondering if I should switch to something bigger. And now this thread is making me wonder if it makes sense to add a sippy.
Oh, look, she is climbing on the breast pump...better go!
DS likes his blankets. He will not sleep if he doesn't have one. Like your LO he is all over the place at night. He never really sleeps with it on. It's more like he curls up with it. Other than that, just my little man.
It could be teeth and it could be an ear infection. I would have the doctor look. DS had trouble sleeping when he had an ear infection.
DS wears a sleep sack instead of a blanket. It's not because I don't want him to have a blanket, he did use one for a long time, but started kicking it off and waking up, so the sleep sack works better now.
Other than that he has a stuffed Elmo all night. When we put him in bed he also gets a book, whichever one we read before bed, to look at until he falls asleep. I usually take that out before I go to bed so it's not uncomfortable for him as he moves around.

Nothing other than my kid. She gets a blankie for naptime if it's not too hot. At night she sleeps with a sleep sack because she wouldn't keep the blanket on all night. During the summer she just sleeps in a onesie because it is too hot but once it starts cooling off it will be back to sleepsack. It will probably keep her in those for one more year until she gets her own room (right now she sleeps in a room that is attached to our bedroom and pretty much only about 5 feet from my bed).
I don't give her a pillow because she pretty much just sleeps on her stomach and does fine without one. I just don't see the use for it yet as it would need to be a very flat pillow.
Have you seen my monkey?
She has her blanket, stuffed teddy bear, glow worm and her cloud b lady bug.
