Sharing a room

We are plainning our second child and plan to keep our baby in our room for a while and then he or she will join our son in his room. He will be 4 at that time. I am worried about the baby waking up my 4 year old...Does anyone have suggestions or experience with this?

We have all 3 in the same room. It took a couple days adjustment (reassuring that mommy or daddy would get the baby-and they didn't need to worry), but then the older 2 slept through baby disburbances just fine.
