DD had 2 month shots yesterday and.....

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months
Screamed for two hours last night and was a fussy-restless mess all night long (she was never like this before last night!)  DS did not act like this after his shots.  Anyone else have this experience?

    I think thats pretty normal.  My LO didn't scream and cry but he was definately out of sorts and slept like crap.  He also developed a mild fever which just made him uncomfortable.

    My LO didnt scream and scream after his shots but he was pretty cranky and just wanted to be held all the time for about 3 days afterward.

    I'm sorry I wish I could say I had the same thing, but my LO was a champ.  She cried for about a minute then was fine.  I'm a nurse so I can tell you they are usually cranky for a couple days after and can run a low grade fever as well.  But Tylenol drops can usually take care of that.  Good luck!

    OMG!! I was going to post something about this because DD received her 2 month vaccinations today and cried, wailed actually, relentlessly.  She's usually such a chill baby, but tonight was so painful for her and us.

    Thank you for asking this! My DD had her shots on Wednesday and the last 3(!!) nights have been disgusting. It was so disheartening because we were ohsoclose to STTN. I'm glad others have experienced the same thing, I don't feel so alone now!

    Tried giving her Tylenol but she spit most of it out!!  Last night she was less fussy.....thank goodness it's another two months before the next round of shots!

    With DD1 she literally was no different after shots.  With DD2 about 6 hours later she was so sad and thrashing about. But we quickly figured out it seemed her legs were sore. I gave her tylenol and she settled right in. I only had to give it that once and after that she was good.

    We gave our DS Tylenol 30 minutes before the shot and 4 hours after and he didn't cry much.  Try that next time and hopefully it helps.
