Last night I finally felt ok to give my poor DH some action. As soon as we finished a huge rush of fluid came out of me, soaking me, the sheets and the mattress. It was very much like when my water was broken when I was induced with my first daughter. Of course it was 12:30am so I made DH stay home with LO and went to the hospital. They did the swab test even though we had sex, and an ultrasound and all my fluid levels look good. So thankfully DD gets some more cooking time. If my water really does break I have no idea how I'll be able to tell the difference after this.
My DH isn't getting a little uneasy when it comes to sex now. Since I have about a week and a half left he doesn't want me to go into labor because we had sex. It's cute, but honestly sometimes I am like I DON'T CARE! But I don't want him to be freaked out during labor especially since we are having a home birth!
But that does suck! From what I hear, you probably will know, especially if you have had a kid before but don't take my word for it I am a FTM
omg. this happened to me over the weekend! I just posted about it on the parenting board. We are pretty sure it was urine. lol. Pretty embarassing and I think I may be cut off between now and birth of baby.

When women have intense sex, they can leak something that is not urine. It's a reaction to the sex and is rare. It happened once with DH a long time ago and we could not figure out what happened. I asked my doctor and she said that this leaking thing is a rare phenomenon. Since you're pregnant , your hormones and the extra blood flow probably contributed.

Ay that would have freaked me out! I'm glad you went to the ER!
Did you orgasm? If so, you might have released a fluid caused by the orgasm. Sometimes it's called female ejaculation, gushing, or squirting. Experts have tested the fluid, and while it does have traces of urine, it is not urine. The fluid is thought to come from the paraurethral ducts.
I think it's related to the g-spot, and with things being a little more engorged, it's probably easier to trigger. I had a boyfriend who could hit the spot. I thought I was peeing, so I would totally empty my bladder beforehand... it would still happen. We just put a towel on the bed. Wow, talk about a flashback... that was yearsssss ago. But my point is - even if you've never experienced it before, it's possible that you experienced it now. And it's possible you won't experience it again... but for your sake I hope you do post-baby!
On a related note, DH and I haven't had sex since First trimester and we did a few days ago. Then I started having clumpier CM, at first I was concerned then realized it was his sperm. Not sure if you thought of that, usually sperm isn't liquidy though but it's not a total stretch. I'm glad everything is ok though!

Be careful, sperm can ripen the cervix. Not sure if you knew this, my dr told me last visit.

Holy crap. I think this is what happened to me. I thought it was urine, but after reading your post, I am pretty sure it wasn't. It happened right when I climaxed and it was one of the most intense orgasms I have ever had. My husband will be so proud. All of this time, we thought I peed on him.

That actually sounds awesome! You had a mega-woman-ejaculation-orgasm! You could get a job in the porn industry with that talent Glad everyhting was ok with the baby and I'm a little envious as I just posted about not having sex in weeks
Re: Sex lead to hush fluid gush.
