I've used for that purpose it as well as added drops of it (therapeutic grade only) to my tea to aid in morning sickness / general nausea and added it to baths.
This says no: https://www.essentialoils.co.za/pregnancy.htm, but it also says to avoid ginger which is often recommended for MS during pregnancy. I'd say it's safe and that this list is for the hyper-cautious moms.

Re: Is peppermint oil safe for pregnancy?
It's safe! My OB recommended Peppermint tea for nausea and heartburn, and I know for sure it's safe topically.
Oil is different then tea. The oil is like drinking 30 cups of tea. Be careful what you report.
