  I didn't take an hpt before beta.....I knew it was going to be negative! Well much to my surprise my beta was positive today! I had been super crampy and spotting a little and was convinced I was out.  You never know! Try and stay positive and good luck to you!!!

  IVF #3 July 2012 ET of 3 on day 3 7/24 BFP!
  Healthy baby girl born at 36w4d on 3/9/13

  IVF #4 May/June 2014 ER 6/4 18R 8M 8F ET 6/9 1 blast, 2 frosties

  I will have to take an HPT before Beta. There is no way I could hold out. 

  I am the type to test out my trigger so I am pretty sure I will then keep testing. I'm a glutton for punishment.  

  Single Mother by Choice. Life didn't work out the way I planned so I did it on my own. IUI #s 1-3, unmedicated = BFN, IUI #s 4-6, 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel = BFN IVF #1: 23R, 20M, 17F. 5 day transfer 2 blasts. 2 Snowbabies BFP 6dp5dt, Beta #1 7dp5dt = 58, Beta #2 9dp5dt = 114, Beta #3 10dp5dt = 187 1st Ultrasound = 5/3, not much to see yet. 2nd Ultrasound = 5/17, TWINS!!! Hospital Bed Rest at 32 weeks due to pre-ecclampsia and severe edema. Audrey Grace, 5lbs9oz, & Lydia Louise, 6lbs, born via emergency c-section on 12/6/12 at 36w1d My IVF Journey

  3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)

  IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets

  Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

  My REs office doesn't do betas until 18 DPtrigger.  I've never made it to beta nor have I tested beforehand

  I tested each day the three days before my beta. There was no way I could wait.

  I didn't because I couldn't take the disappointment if the HPT was wrong.  Although, I totally see the validity of testing if you're going to work the day of the beta.  I totally had to leave work early both times I made it to the beta.

  Started TTC 4/09 Saw Specialist 7/10 Low Estrogen, FSH, & Progesterone DH: Normal First Round Clomid, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 9/10 Second Round Clomid, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 10/10 IUI #1: Clomid, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 11/10 IUI #2: Clomid, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 12/10 Natural #1: Follistem, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 1/11 Natural #2: Follistem, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 2/11 IUI #3: Follistem, Ovidrel, & Prometrium 3/11 Exploratory Laproscopy: found cysts outside ovaries & fallopian tubes blocked (removed) 5/11 IUI #4: 7/11 IUI #5: 7/11 IVF #1: implanted 2 embryos= BFN w/ no frosties IVF #2: 12/11 implanted 3 embryos= BFN w/ no frosties 2/12: Consulted regular endo about weird test results, worse than nothing. 7/12: Decided that adoption is the best option.

  Im a pretty early POASer... i always test before my betas.  I plan to at least test the day of my beta from now on.  I wont be testing early anymore.

  My beta is on this Wednesday and I plan on taking a HPT this Tuesday.  I guess I just want to be prepared.

  
  DOR and AMA
  2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;
  7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts; 6 frosties = BFN;
  Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
  Follow up testing in September all clear;
  Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
  FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
  12/12- Officially an OB patient!
  Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
  Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
  Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
  Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!
  Trying for sibling: FET # 2- May 2014; beta 5/31, BFN
  FET #3, early July 2014; beta 7/14, BFN
  DE IVF # 2- August 2014; 14R, 13M, 11F, 5dt of 2 blasts (3 AA), 5 frosties = BFN
  FET #4- December 2014, yet another BFN

  Dr. KK work up shows borderline uterine blood flow, elevated NK cells, and MTHFR mutation (homozygous for c677t)

  Added baby aspirin, prednisone, supplements, Metanx, and intralipids

  Switched to large clinic for final attempt; had endometrial receptivity testing in January; FET March 2015 = yet another BFN

  Likely OAD- NBC

  I usually do, First time I got AF bc I was on vag supps, but the 2nd and 3rd I was on PIO so when AF didnt come I did a day or two before the beta just so I am not in hysterics on the phone with the nurse.

  
  TTC #1 since 3/10:
  DX: Me-PCOS, retroverted/ tilted ute - DH- MFI, DH-4 mo of Clomid therapy= no improvement. Weekly HCG injections.
  Me-34, DH-33
  HSG- unsuccessful, SHSG (dialated)-no blockages
  7/11-Clomid (unmonitored) BFN,
  #1 Fresh IVF 9/11: w/ ICSI & AH (only option): (1 transfered, 8BF) = BFN!!
  #2 FET: 2 transferred (2 6BF) 12/11 = BFFN!!
  Surprise + HPT on break! 2/12 Beta 1: 6 Beta 2: <5 = c/p ( RE had given me provera... So pretty sure this ruined everything)<BR> #3 Fresh IVF 3/12: w/ ICSI & AH (2 transfered 8BF & 7BF, 1 to freeze) = BFMFN!
  New RE 5/12
  6/14 Hysteroscopy
  #4 Fresh IVF 8/12: 5dt of 2 5AB blasts = BFN!... what else is new?!?
  New RE insists its a transfer issue, immunology checked & good
  #5 IVF FET 1/13 under anesthesia : Two 5 day blasts transferred
  + HPT!! Beta1: 2315 Beta2: 6442 Beta3: 31,061
  First u/s 1/30/13: Shows 1 healthy heartbeat!!
  
  Was he was right? I wasted 4 IVF's and the doctors were not getting the catheter in?!?

  My clinic strongly discouraged POAS before the beta.  The last time I went in for a beta, I took a test with me and POAS immediately following the blood draw. I'm really glad I did because I followed the clinics direction the 2 previous times and never got to see the positive test.

  My clinic has me call to schedule a beta once I get a pos HPT. Good luck! 

  Me: 33, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, DOR (AMH .35), DH: 38, Borderline low morph
  5/09- Off BCP, 5/09-9/09- No period, 9/09-9/10- Lots of Tests & accupuncture
  10/10 and 11/10- 2 rounds of Menopur + TI= BFNS
  12/10-IUI #1 Menopur = BFN
  1/11- IUI #2 Menopur = BFP, 2/11 missed mc at 9 weeks, D&C
  5/11- Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum
  6/11- IUI #3 Menopur = BFP, 8/11 missed mc at 11 weeks, D&C
  1/12- Lap and Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum (again) & scar tissue
  2/12- Stint Removal, 3/12 repeat SHG and HSG- showed scar tissue blocking right tube
  4/12- Operative hysteroscopy (again), RE said he can now see right tube (yay!)
  5/12- Stint removal, 6/12 repeat SHG and HSG-both tubes are open!
  8/12- IUI #4 Bravelle = BFN
  9/12-IUI #5 Bravelle = BFN
  1/13- IVF #1, micro-flare protocol, 7R, 6F, 5dt of 2 AA embryos, 1 to freeze = BFP
  Beta #1: 176, Beta #2: 422, EDD 10/8/13- it's TWINS!

  Just be cautious. My trigger stayed in me longer than expected (I was testing it out) and I had false hope. As hard as it will be, I won't be testing  until probably the day or day before the beta this time.

  I do not test before my beta. I once got a false BFP the day before my beta that was negative.
