no true theme I guess, but DH and I always call her "goose" so I am making her cake in the shape of a goose, and the cupcakes for the kids will look like lilly pads on top. Its just going to be picnic casual in our back yard
None. We will just have a simple small BBQ at our house. We call her 'Boo' and 'Tiny Princess' but neither of those really make for a theme (I don't want to do a all Princess theme) and she's not "into" anything yet.
probably monkeys....he LOVES monkeys...says "ooh ahh ahh" and always points to the wall with them on him in his room....and laughs hysterically when he sees a picture of one.
We did a Mad Hatter Unbirthday party - DS is a preemie and notorious for wearing hats which is why I chose it. It was fun! So he's over one, but 10 months adjusted which is why I still come to this board

We're doing a color theme- mostly purple. and some yellow. I'm making her dress from the pillowcase I made to take to the hospital when she was born (sappy, I know). I'm hoping it's a tradition I can carry on with all my kids.
I am convinced that coffee is God's gift to mothers.
DS was born on Star Wars Day ("May the 4th be with you") and I'm a complete nerd, so he is have a Star Wars birthday.
This is my husband's birthday, and he also loves the Star Wars connection lol!!
Our theme is "You are my Sunshine". Lots of bright yellows. I am excited about it, but if I knew when I started planning that she would now be obsessed with dogs, I would have done a puppy theme.
It's strange but fun. I made invitations that looked like the front page of a paper. Most of our decorations are made of recycled paper in some fashion- a banner with his name in bright colors on newspaper, newspaper and bright color pinwheels and goodie bags with the kids' names written in randsom note style letters.
His birthday photo shot will be with a newspaper backdrop.
