DS is 10 months and he has been using sippy cups with solids since 6 months. He does OKAY with them. I want to try the straw cup again but the playtex one we have isn't so great. Does anyone have good straw cup suggestions? I would love to transition off the bottle at one year. TIA!!
We use avent straw cups, they are advertised (here at least) for 18m+ but DD does great with them, they are shaped a bit rounded and breastlike i think this is why she likes them
I have this one aswell and noticed DD doesnt know how to really suck it since it seems harder to do so. (I tried it) I would go with a traditional one this one is no-spill and is just a weird straw. She seemed to like the regular one better.
Re: straw sippy cups
We have these:
and these:
DS uses them fine. He never did get the hang of a traditional sippy cup. He only likes the ones with a straw.

Get one you can squish to make water come out the straw.
After many cup fails, this is the winner. He actually gets it now.
