DS has gotten crayon on his tray. I don't even bother trying to scrub it off. It comes off after a few times of regular washing after meals. I don't think it hurts them so I wouldn't worry too much about the marks.

She actually hates them. Every time I try she ends up screaming and crying. I really wanted to make homemade Valentines Day cards for the grandmas.
Hmm. She hates crafts & you hate the mess. Try the 409 & magic eraser & then never ever ever ever ever do another craft? lol. Sorry this is frustrating you!

PS - is your high chair wood or plastic?
I always use baby wipes to clean crayons off the tray and the wood table.
Plastic. And markers went over much better.
