Just started posting on TB and I really needed to share this.

Coworker's sister and BIL had a daughter a few months ago and named her Sparrow Moon. They had been in the hospital for a few days and didn't have a name and THAT is what they came up with. Poor kid.

They're not hippies or anything either.

I kind of like, although if it really is out of the norm for them (they aren't hippies or Pagans or w/e), they probably should gone with something more mainstream like Robin.

Luna Robin would have made a nice name, IMO, and it has the same feel since Luna means "Moon" and Robin is a bird's name.

I think its sweet, though.

That is terrible. I can't believe that's the best they could come up with. This is a classic example of a name that will sound horrible once she's about 12.
