How much does your 2 month old weigh?

My 2.5 month old weighs 14lb 12oz and is 23 1/4 long. I feel like he's giant, LOL. He's already in 6 month clothes!

Re: How much does your 2 month old weigh?

  • Our boys are a day apart and Im sure he's at your same weight. Last weight check was 2 weeks ago and he was 13 1/2 lbs at that time so Im sure he's well over 14 by now. We made great big boys!

What size diaper is he in now? Mine is starting to bust out of his 1's.

    IUI#1 - 05/20/08 = BFP! M/C - 14 weeks :( baby girl
    IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks :( lost twin girls
    IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks :( again
    IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
    FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
    IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!

  • At 2 months, she weighed about 10.5 lbs I think. She weighs about what your guy weighs now (she's 6 months old). She's much taller though. I make peanut babies and she had a lot of feeding issues that caused some problems with her weight gain!

  • I can't remember how much mine was at 2 months but at 4 months he was 14lbs 4 oz and was 26 1/4 inches long. So mine is long and lean. He was 8lbs 15 oz at birth so I thought he was going to just be a big boy but I guess not. It sounds like you have a nice hearty boy on your hands!
After almost 3 years and 2 IUIs our lil guy is here! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker <a href="http://s579.photobucket.com/albums/ss238/hall_kyrac/?action=view

  • G was only 13.3 at her 2 month (which I think was still over 90th percentile) but she was 24 inches long.  She started in 3-6 month (or Carter's 6 months) at 6 weeks-- she was just too long for smaller onesies, everything was a bit loose on her because she didn't chunk up until 8 months or so but she has always been tall.

  • Both girls weighed 10lb 11oz at their 2 month appt.

  • Mine is long and lean. I'm guessing he's 11.5 lbs and 24 inches now. He was 10.5 lbs and 23.5 inches at his 2 months appt on december 2nd.

He was 6.5 lbs and 19.25 inches at birth and went down to 5 lbs 13 oz at one point right after birth because he kept on falling asleep during feedings.

Foster was 10lbs and 22.5 inches!

That was basically my son's birth stats, he was 10 lbs and 22 inches.  My nephew was 10 lbs 9 oz and 22.75 inches at birth.  Both of them were born at 39 weeks.  My family definitely makes large babies.

At 2 months old, DS was 12 lbs 1 oz and 24.5 inches long.

Sorry no paragraphs, bumping from my phone.

  • Honestly, I don't think it matters what other kids weigh. It's kind of the equivalent of me asking how tall everyone in this group is: you are what you are genetically predetermined to be.

A child is no more/less healthy if they weigh more/less than another (pending some scenarios).

As long as your child is keeping up on their curve, then that's what's important.

But it's great your dude is doing well.
