Advice needed: I
finally got a job offer after over a year of job searching... I really need the
money right now and could use something to do during that day. What should I
do? I aced the telephone interview and am going for an interview. She knows I
would only be temporary since I'm starting school in september... She just
doesn't know I might be leaving early. Is it possible for me to not tell her
and just give a mopnths notice before I leave? Or should I let her know and
hope it doesn't affect things... I really really need the money 
I was thinking of telling her since I am showing and writing a letter just explaining it is a healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy and I am capable of work until March 1st. [I'm due the 16th]
Rant: stupid me called my mom and grandma for advice earlier and they both bitched me out to shreds for attempting to get a job while pregnant. Now if I don't get the job, I'll have to deal with their told-you-so's. I also read online it's best not to tell when interviewing but telling when you have a job offer already... so much conflicting advice I'm really nervous and now I feel pressure because my family is so negative and stubborn...and I posted on fb about it and this girl in Edmonton who I was childhood friends with she came out and said she got the same offfer for the same type of job same wage and she's a known liar so if I dont get hired she'll lie and say she did to make me feel like crap and she lives in edmonton so no one can really say anything.
The job is at a call centre and they know I could only work until September due to school, [its fulltime], so it means the period they expected me for would be shortened, but it has a very fast turnaround rate since it's Collections..

Basically what you need to be focusing on is whether or not to reveal your pregnancy to the prospective employer... I'm sure you regret calling your mother and grandmother because according to your last post, they continue to be nothing but unsupportive and even rude. You most likely know you shouldn't let what they say bother you. And I'm not really sure what your friend's situation has to do with the job interview... I couldn't connect the dots.
If you do an interview in person and you are showing you can't exactly hide it. Sure, you may not reveal it to the employer but they'll have suspicions. Maybe some other moms will have different advice as far as this goes but I don't see a point in not revealing the pregnancy when it's obvious you're pregnant.
I have an interview this afternoon for an internal position and the ladies on here advised me against mentioning it but a friend (who is a supervisor somewhere) and my mother (who worked in HR) both told me to be upfront about my pregnancy (I'm obviously VERY showing) and tell them my plans (if I get hired/transferred I will just take my 12 week medical/maternity leave and not extend it with my 4 week vacation time).
It's a difficult choice...I don't want to taint it eitehr way! ahhh good luck!

I recently was hired (about a month ago). I wasn't exactly showing yet but I was upfront with my (now) supervisor. She also went to college with me so I knew that rumors could have reached her. She really wanted to hire me and pushed for it to happen. I do plan on returning to this position after a shortened maternity leave.
My advice would be see how you feel during the interview. If you think the company will be receptive to you coming in and working for 3 months and leaving then let them know. If not I might suggest keeping it quiet until they offer you a position and then let them know.
