I'm starting to work on the nursery, and was wondering if you guys could recommend your etsy sellers? Anything from bedding to accent pieces. I've really been searching hard for bedding, but am also looking for unique accent pieces. Thanks!!
I just paid for my custom bedding from a seller on Etsy...her shop name is eileenskids and she has been great to work with so far! I paid for my set on Saturday and she's already put a swatch of one of the fabrics in the mail so we can approve it and pick out paint! And she's reasonably priced...I got a 5 piece set with monogramming on two pillows and the bumper for $310!!!
Thanks! This is what I'm looking for I've been looking through soooo many different sellers looking at bedding. I don't want to spend a fortune, but do love the custom look. I'll check her out! Anyone else have an opinions on sellers that they've used for the nursery?
I highly recommend that you do not spend $300 on a bedding set! I almost did the same thing but settled for a Carters bumper, separate sheet and crib skirt. I have gotten so many compliments on it and it was all less than $50. Check Amazon and JC Penney.
Expensive bedding sets are just so unnecessary! You are mainly paying for the fancy bumper (which most people don't/shouldn't use) and the blanket (which is a major no-no).
hairbows (also check WalMart or Hobby Lobby for regular hair bows)
bibs (this seller is on vacation right now but mark her page because these are the best (and cutest) bibs I've found anywhere. Got them when DD was about 6 months for the drooling and I'm still using them at 14 months for mealtimes.)
I agree with BBRE and I wouldn't have spent that much on a bedding set but we customized it, so I will be using the blanket as a cover for the bench seat, a pillow for the bench seat, and a pillow in the rocker. I did this instead of getting a crib sheet or a diaper stacker which I felt were not important and will just be using white sheets. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted and we knew we would not find it anywhere unless it was custom made. We're having a boy and for me it was important to have what we felt was the cutest bedding and accessories for him because we can't put hair bows or tutus on him! We are finding other ways to have fun with our special little boy.
I personally sell crib rail covers on there for those who are looking to save their cribs from chewers and also to use in place of a bumper but still look nice and decorative and match your bedding. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BellaBambinoLLC

These are really great, inexpensive nursery decor, they come in any color.
I love this seller, she's by no means cheap so you have to watch for sales
